Clan Etiquette - Do's and Don'ts

Me, the leader and the the other co-leaders in my clan are always kicking people out of our clan for stupid stuff. Today I want to talk about proper clan etiquette. In other words, things you should and shouldn't do.

Requesting and Donating Troops

It's pretty dumb of you to request troops you can't even make. It's a huge pet peeve of ours. Don't request lvl 5 archers if you can only make lvl 4. The same goes for requesting a PEKKA knight when you can't even make them yet.

When you're requesting troops, customize the message and tell your fellow clan members exactly what you're wanting them to donate to you. You don't have the right to complain if you don't tell them what to give you.

When you see that someone is requesting troops, read the message and give them what they're asking for. It's pretty shitty if you give them gobs when they asked for archers. (Gobs are one of the worst units to have in a clan castle - more on this in a future post).  If an idiot donates something you didn't ask for, just delete the unit and tell them not to do that again. If they do it again, it's grounds for kicking in our clan.

Clan Wars

Don't even bother attacking anyone in the enemy's top 10. You'll most likely fail and get 0 stars for your clan. It's important to attack a base you know you can 2 or 3 star.

To give your clan the best chance of winning a war, the clan castles need to be filled. Pull your weight and donate, but don't be stupid and take all of that responsibility and fill every clan castle. It's not fair to you and your resources that you work so hard for.

Recruiting

Don't leave all the recruiting to the leader and co-leaders. Pull your weight and jump on Global chat and talk people into joining your clan. When new people join the clan, welcome them and ask them where they're from. New people want to be part of a clan that's active and friendly.

Did I miss any do's and don'ts in my etiquette list?
